I know i need to start hosting them again.I used to host them everyday .Im geting together a huge pvp event soon 1 vs 1 fully buffed,no hero skills,all pots welcomed true pvp.The problem was the prizes etc.Noone wanted 1 lifestone so i been thinking of a new prize .Alot of gm's dont host these because it takes close to 2 hours to complete depending on the ammount of people.I will start hosting them again i promise.Another reason i stopped was because of some bugged skills etc.now that alot of the classes arent op it will be interesting to see who will come out ontop.My sleeping patterns are a bit goofed but i shall host 1 soon very soon just be ready.The winner will get something nice

I still belive the best pvp is 3 vs. 3 and looks like Ncsoft is agree with me in Gracia 3 olympiad :D

3-vs-3
Party must consist of 3 members.
Only the Partyleader can sign for olympiad.
3-vs-3 Matches are not class based.
There are no buffs from a NPC available, resurrection skills are disabled.
Normal olympiad rules apply for anything else.

anyway, for 1 vs. 1 and to find who is really a good player, the best wolud be a special modyfied server where players can choice and change anytime class, armors, 2 weapons only, 2 augument skills (lets say +0 all) 5 jewels including bosses.. etc. every1 with same items/chances and play in oly with oly rulls. then, we will see who will be the best in most classes. only knowledge and players skills will make the differences! ^^

On my old server GM's made pvp event to find out wich clan is best at team play. It was 6 vs 6(only from 1 clan) with some rules like not more/less then 1 healer and tank, no res and so on... Would be awesome.

1vs1 in no grade would be nice ... every1 would be equal ... and u would see who is the best player but there would be 1 problem ... Dagger class :D they dont need else except 1 dagger but in general the ideea is good :)

theres no daggers at ng. only warrior and mystic :) but i said D-grade (max lvl39).. etc :D

this 3 vs 3 event is very intresting but to be whit no grade and +0 LoL then that beter be for pvp on 1-19 lvl no grade 20-39 D grade 40-51 C grade 52-60 b grade 61-75 A grade and 76-85 S grade

I never did these 1vs1 or 3vs3 events. So I dont know how fun it is.

I saw other gms do it and I saw its similar to "manual" raid events. I mean it take hours to organize/run/finish/reward the event!

This is the "main" cause we built the "Raid Engine". Which runs everything automatic and rewards all players auto, without being scammed by this noob or annoyed by that noob, or wasting hours trading rewards with players.

I dont get the 1vs1 idea to be honest. Keep in mind as an admin/gm, im obligated to run events for the entire server, not just few players.

I think I get the general idea of 40 players going with the GM to an arena, then its 1vs1 fights. Sounds like "oly" to me!

I dont know, maybe we build an engine for it and call it "Mortal Combat" event!?

It will be very hard to code but it can be done.

Event NPC will spawn "like TVT" and you register. If 100 players join, they will be teleported to an arena "collesium for example" and be seated.

The engine will select 2 players and teleport them inside in the collesium to fight, the loser is eleminated and sent back to town, the winner gets a reward and remains in the event.

I dont know, its just an idea. It needs alot of thinking before we even think of coding it.

Which reminds me to recode the "Death Match" event engine and make it "Last Man Standing"!

thats how i run my pvp events fire.i seat everyone and randomly select to be honest i love the sound of that as a tvt style engine that would be totally bad ass.i ran a pvp event lastnight took around 1 hour not bad with like 35 players etc.problem when you get 90 players it can take up to 2 3 hours lol .thing is 1 vs 1 fully buffed is alot better then oly style honestly.you must ask yourself whos going to go to siege unbuffed? who will you meet outside of town unbuffed?so most people fight fully buffed so thats why i host fully buffed pvp events.just like you normally pvp.etc

guys dont go out of the main topic. If u want 1 vs 1 no whit out buffs go oly if u want 1 vs 1 whit buffs go event . 2 vs 2 or 10 vs 10 blabalbal. Ther are ppl wwho want 1 vs 1 a cleen fight whit no interoptions and to get someting in reword . 1 is to choos a reword like fire sed and 2 if hero wana Join the event it will be only hero vs hero becose the last time normal char vs hero cant win when the fights whit hero finish ( only 1 hero stands in the coliseum ) then hero will recive his reword and he dont have to fight .a reword will be somting that no one cant get from the mobs life stone 82 ther is no point in the a becose the TvT event gives them BE.AS not good becose the raid event gives them what left i donno i am open to sugestions ther is not much left for a reword
