i use 30fps version 2.9.8 and it saves directly to my c:/fraps folder

i am not sure what type of PC your using so i cant help much

well your stil using windows xp, your software is outdated and if your pushing on ram u will not get what u need out of fraps, u have good enough ram and your gcard is good.

do u lagg when u fraps?
how much are u recording at a time before u stop fraps?
remember the more u record the more is stored and less performance u will get from fraps and yes u can use up all your space thus making it harder to store videos and it will also make u crit error if u try to start it when its full

I don't lag, but the space on hard disc is an issue as a say few recording time a lot of space ocupated. so i don't get all i want to make a video =S normaly how much space does it consume to you?

i could normaly get about 10 mins of recordings before my PC crashed then i started to use my laptop and my laptop is a vista,my desktop is windows xp. i just simply could not record enough on my desktop without running into issues die to the lack of updates for windows xp.

on my laptop i can get 30 mins easy

i recorded almost all the time over a week time but would go though all my fraps and cut all the videos and composed them into one pvp video...takes about 3 to 4 hours. then whatever was left over i used in another video but you cant do that with windows xp so dont even say u can with xp when u cant

i used sony vegas sometimes, also used adobe after effects but not alot.....not big on fancy effects i just wanted to put together a decent video where people could see who i was fighting
